Which of Erza's armor should I make?

So I've been asking our group to come up with a "Group Cosplay" idea and Miah came up with and everyone agreed we should do a group "Fairy Tail" Cosplay! So I am left with choosing which of Erza's Armor to try and take on. What are your thoughts and opinions?

Bio of Nana The Red

Nana_The_Red has been involved in Costuming since age 13. It all began with the S.C.A (Society for Creative Anachronism) and she continues to be an active Cosplayer. Steam Works Film shoot "Take Two!"

That's right y'all Nana has been one busy gal! Photo shoot with Kent 10am-2:30pm. Home just long enough to shower, load the van and take a 45 min power nap then off to Red Gears studios for the airship film set! Wardrobe at 9 and filming at 10Pm until Joe has captured the perfect footage!

That's a Wrap! words that make my heart sing came around 2:30 this morning!

Now Emerald and I can really get busy and start organizing all of this wardrobe, lay some carpet, and play the "OH! That's where that was!" game while finding things that had been misplaced. Once everything is in order it will be so freaking nice!

Tampabay Comic Con!

Our third Con since moving to Fl and by far the worst organized thing I have ever attended! Great turn out, Fantastic Star line-up, and even decent overly priced Con food. BUT...and it's a BIG ONE!

When you schedule to have SO MANY high profile stars from recent mega hits such as the "Hunger games" and "Game of Thrones" you have to plan for the hectic crowds accordingly! 2.5 hours and longer standing in one line just to get in whether you pre-bought your tickets or paying at the door is just bad planning! there is ZERO reason why Emerald and I were there 7 hours (2.5 in line just to get in, followed by 45 min to reg for costume contest line, followed by hour line to be in the contest! So we actually had about 2.5 hours worth of Con XP before they started shutting down! Most of that was spent in the 55 min G.O.T panel (At least we got to SEE them)the rest was spent in line trying to buy a 10.50 hamburger..Just one burger! Missed my photo op with Jason Momoa standing in the line to get in! The Costume contest room was way over crowded and a lot who entered didn't make it to stage because they couldn't hear their names called because the crowds pushed out into the main hall. Only got to run up and down the isles in the vendor room because by the time we made it that far into the convention they were closing! There were some awesome CosPlayers at this event I will say that! Gave out a few more "Just BeCos" cards in hopes of gaining some members to our guild!

This Con could have been most Epic if only had a better person in charge of organizing things! I hope they have learned from this ordeal and plan better next time! Steam Works Film shoot "Take One!"

It was an early morning! 5:30am on set. Let the magic begin! Below you will find some photos from today's saloon shoot "Sam's Saloon!" This is the start of the trailer for "Steam Works".

The world of Arcadia was rocked by an intergalactic war nearly a hundred years ago. It left the planet destroyed, broken, and in the dark. Living in a world of steam and alien technology it is up you to decide if humans and aliens can coexist. Living in a world of steam and alien technology the player has the choice to decided what is they want to do and who will survive. In a completely open world of this RPG the character to create weapons, armor, and customize their own look from top to bottom. Wardrobe and armament will be a huge factor in this game. If you find a coat that is black and you want it white, change it. If you find a gun you really like but the damage isn't enough. Find the parts to change it. It really is up the player to change as much as possible. And we want to create a steam punk world that is also mixed with alien technology. So you can have a steam punk bio arm that shoots plasma or you can have a steam powered machine gun that is kinetic. We also offer vehicles in the game. There is the desert trike, a three wheeled off road customization piece of awesomeness that is as fun to upgrade as it is to ride on. As well as a steam punk jet pack and a Divinci style glider to glide through the city. The goal is to give the player as much time building their character as they have shooting, looting, and salvaging throughout the game. And in the end you build your army of sorts. To help in one final battle and the create the outcome of the game. The ending is up to you.

Kick Ass II kick's ass!

Tonight I treated "Just BeCos" to a pre-screening of "Kick ass two". There were 13 of us in total tonight and by far our biggest meet-up! Hopefully we will keep having good attendance and gain even more members soon! It was a really great turn out and I am very pleased!

Now...My thoughts about the movie: I love "Kick ass" and "Kick ass 2 didn't disappoint. There was a bit more profanity than the first one and a bit more "Cheese factor" but overall it delivered exactly what I thought it would! I mean what does one expect when watching a film about a bunch of awkward teen vigilantes and their just as awkward adult team members? I just love "Chloë Grace Moretz" she always brings the pain!

L.O.T.R Audio books have been mailed out!

Okay, so yes that's a big ole' LIE! Something pretty exciting did happen today though! I had a meeting today with Joe Davison (Co-Owner of Red Gears Studios, and Nerd Shuttle), as you may know if you've read my past Blog posts...Joe brought me on as a hostess for Nerd Shuttle news. Well, I haven’t actually got to see what that entails yet because once he found out I was a seamstress he asked me if I was interested in helping out with wardrobe for an upcoming trailer for a video game and to actually be IN the trailer. HECK YA I’m Interested! All I know at this point is we need several Western Steampunk/Alien tech outfits! Let the creative flow begin! My mind is buzzing with ideas! /Feeling creative!

Welcome Fanboys Expo to Tampa!

Fanboys Expo is new here but I have a feeling it's going to do very well! Being new it was a smaller event being hosted in the main hall and conference rooms upstairs of the airport hotel. However don't let the newness or size of this event fool you! It is well worth the trip with their organizational skills and Epic line up of stars attending you will want to keep an eye on this Con for the future! Met Casandra (Elvira), Captain Spaulding, and had a photo op with Billy Williams! Also got some great photos with the 501st! You know i had to find my husband Darth! (I cosplayed Padme) Also on a side note I must say the hotel lounge food was amazing! blue crab nachos and a margarita pizza! Nom nom nom!
