Tampabay Comic Con!

Our third Con since moving to Fl and by far the worst organized thing I have ever attended! Great turn out, Fantastic Star line-up, and even decent overly priced Con food. BUT...and it's a BIG ONE!

When you schedule to have SO MANY high profile stars from recent mega hits such as the "Hunger games" and "Game of Thrones" you have to plan for the hectic crowds accordingly! 2.5 hours and longer standing in one line just to get in whether you pre-bought your tickets or paying at the door is just bad planning! there is ZERO reason why Emerald and I were there 7 hours (2.5 in line just to get in, followed by 45 min to reg for costume contest line, followed by hour line to be in the contest! So we actually had about 2.5 hours worth of Con XP before they started shutting down! Most of that was spent in the 55 min G.O.T panel (At least we got to SEE them)the rest was spent in line trying to buy a 10.50 hamburger..Just one burger! Missed my photo op with Jason Momoa standing in the line to get in! The Costume contest room was way over crowded and a lot who entered didn't make it to stage because they couldn't hear their names called because the crowds pushed out into the main hall. Only got to run up and down the isles in the vendor room because by the time we made it that far into the convention they were closing! There were some awesome CosPlayers at this event I will say that! Gave out a few more "Just BeCos" cards in hopes of gaining some members to our guild!

This Con could have been most Epic if only had a better person in charge of organizing things! I hope they have learned from this ordeal and plan better next time!
