Maker Faire Austin TX

This weekend we attend the Maker Faire here in Austin TX. There is so much to see and do it’s just amazing! Up and down the massive merchant rows you can find many “How to” and “Samples” of some really cool things! They had a giant working Mousetrap game, battling bots with and without fire, an awesome laser show band, and my favorite R2D2 and R2D4. I just HAD to get my photos stealing a kiss from R2D2! Then he followed me around a bit too funny! I would have taken him home! The kids really enjoyed the laser piano, and we all enjoyed the hula-hoop station! See their website here! http://makerfaire.com/The only thing that made me a bit sad was there wasn’t any steam punk stuff that I seen at our Austin show. “Pout” I seen photos online of some really awesome steam punk things and I was really hoping to get my hands on some project or new gear!
