Bay Area Ren Faire!
First Ren-Faire we have attended since moving to Fl! We walked. We ate. We seen mermaids.We even hula hooped! A fun time had by all! in attendance were Emerald, Darick, Richard, Liam, Karaly, and myself!

Howrse US- Warning; You have ZERO KARMA
Okay, I like Howrse. Its not a bad game to waste time and money on. However, when you "suspend" a player with NO warning and then are unwilling to take the time to really help, things get serious.
FAMILIES BEWARE! PLAY HOWRSE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Our family on Howrse US: disabled occasional player mom, just-there son, and daily player daughter (me).
Yesterday (3.1.2013) my mother tried to log into her account and was greeted with this:
Without any warning her account has been suspended and she is no longer allowed to play.
Dear Howrse Team US,
I am writing this to inform you that:
You have dropped to zero karma
You are no help at all
You need to learn proper English
You being our "Customer support" means you need to actually help players
And lastly, you have broken your own rules
"7.2 One sole account per Player
...Each Player may only register once for the Game, and may only hold one Account.
It is strictly prohibited for one Player to register more than one Account, to use an Account opened by another Player outside of the allowed co-management options, or to use the username of another Player in a fraudulent manner.
The opening of several Accounts by the same Player or the fraudulent use of another Player's Account or username may result in the closure of the Player's account, in the Player being prohibited from accessing the Game from any account."
Now where should I begin? How about my mother has been informed that she is not "temporarily suspended" she is just suspened, and may not return to Howrse US. Why? Because she has be accused of account trafficking. I could only assume this is because she uses my Mac Book while in bed, seeing as they refuse to give a real answer..
My friend True Heart was off of Howrse for his own reasons, leaving this message on his profile: It said "Managing" BEFORE the warning seen below-
"5. Duration
Registration shall permit a Player to use the www.howrse.com website and participate in the Game unless and until OWLIENT terminates the Player's right to do so as a consequence of any breach of the Terms by the Player. OWLIENT may also terminate a Player's right to use the www.howrse.com website and participate in the Game at any time on not less then one month prior written notice."
Let first start off with she NEVER recevied a warning, nor did she receive a "one month prior written notice". On top of that this is a perfect example of either an innocent typo that has been on Howrse since it began OR a proven point that the Howrse US team does not speak proper English.
Seeing as SpeedFreak was the one on True Hearts account he got this message:
Obviously this message is personalized to him and his twin. Meaning they took the time to read the issue and solve it, a warning that cannot be replied to because it is from "The Howrse team" itself.
So if the issue is simply that on my mothers account said this "Dear Mods/GMs/ and others, please do not get my daughter in trouble for updating as me occasionally" and he her page clearly stated "I am a disabled mother and I cannot always sit up to play the game"- (which is why she logged on using my Mac Book) NOT the fact we actually shared a computer, why is it okay that she NEVER received ANY warning like they did, and yet is no longer allowed to play?
If they would have sent my mother, myself, or BOTH of us a warning in the first place the statement would have been removed and I wouldn't have helped her out....
So unless "The Howrse team" is just lazy, they kind of have to admit to being sexist on their decisions on who they actually warn like they are SUPPOSED to.
Here is the conversation with my mother and "The Howrse team":
1. If you contact my mother you will be blocked and/or ignored. You may ONLY reply on this Blog.
2. "Indeed, the tool we use to identify the muti-accounts can make the difference with muti-accounts players and a family."
So, you just called us lairs AND proved your system DOES NOT work. Good Job Howrse Team!
