Free RPG day @ The Comics Club

"The Comics Club" is one of the area comic book shops that also has a large selection of gaming supplies. One thing I truly believe in doing is supporting local business when it comes to this kind of shopping. Yes, You could buy your gaming supplies online and have it shipped to your home but then you miss out on the social aspect of it all!

Today was "Free Role-Playing Day" at the "Comics Club" and they had all their tables out for table top gaming and a raffle drawing for a prize of over 700$ in epic nerd loot! They also fed everyone pizza! NOM NOM!!! Emerald, Miah, Frank and I were in attendance from "Just BeCos" as well as a bunch of other local gamers we wouldn't have met if it weren't for shopping local! They had door prizes and raffle drawings every 25 min throughout the event! SCORE! Emerald got some new buttons for her pin collection (over 100 now!) and I got some new pretty dice and a few (I call them mini games)card games. Darick and I like to play games whenever we go out to eat :)so YAY to free loot! had a pretty amazing time!
